What are the race options?
Race-goers have a few different race distances to choose from. The main race is 100km in length, then you get a 65km race, a 20km race for paraplegic competitors and under 15’s.
Who are the previous notable winners of the Mauritius Cycle Tour?
Among the illustrious winners of the race, Sylvain Georges stands out for his remarkable 2016 performance, where he dominated from the beginning and completed the final 70km alone, setting a record time of 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 49 seconds. On the women’s side, South African Kirsten Schut shone brightly in 2018, finishing with an impressive 2 hours and 18 minutes. Additionally, the Mauritian Johan Pirogue made his mark in 2015 with a commendable time of 2 hours, 13 minutes, and 50 seconds, showcasing the competitive spirit that defines this thrilling event.
