Edusport was appointed as Exclusive Sales Agent of MATCH Hospitality in South Africa for the sale of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Official Hospitality Programme, as well as the exclusive sales agent for events like the IRB Rugby World Cup (2007 – 2015), the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens (1996 – 2015), the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and ICC Champions Trophy England & Wales 2017. We have enabled countless travellers to experience firsthand the most iconic sporting events worldwide.
With our strength in large group bookings and the project management of travel services for events, Edusport acquired 100% ownership of Peak Incentives in March 2014 to further enhance our growth in incentive travel. Peak Incentives brings ten years of focused incentive travel experience to the group. How We Tread Right (HWTR) is The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) new five-year sustainability strategy, which sets the mandate on sustainability at Edusport Travel and Tours and our sister travel companies.
Our strategy is based on 11 measurable goals developed to address Thompsons’ impact on Planet, People, and Wildlife. These goals, anchored to the United Nations’ Global Goals, address:
Planet – sustainability and conservation by targeting climate change, sustainable food production and responsible consumption through carbon management, renewable energy, the food cycle, waste reduction, and the elimination of single-use plastics.
People – community support and cultural preservation by targeting overtourism through the inclusion of new Make Travel Matter experiences, the creation of a standalone strategy to encourage greater diversity and inclusion at Edusport, and our global give-back efforts.
Wildlife – conservation and protection by targeting animal welfare and conservation, and ethical wildlife experiences through TreadRight’s Animal Welfare Policy.

Hi, Caroline, I did not get much of a chance to provide any feedback after the trip, but it was absolutely fantastic! Our Tour de France trip through the Pyrenese up to Paris was absolutely wonderful! The VIP accesses was a big wonderful surprise. The flights were great (thanks to emergency seat add on). The destinations were great. Everything was nicely organised. My husband did the cycling part and he loved tackling the big mountains. I especially loved making new friends on the tour from all over the world. Adding a few extra days in Paris afterwards was a good decision on our part and highly recommended to others for next year.
