Frequently Asked Questions

What is Edusport Travel & Tours doing for their clients?

Your peace-of-mind is our main concern, which is why we have put the following measures in place:

  • We are closely monitoring all relevant sporting events and updating our travellers with the latest information regarding postponement or cancellation announcements.
  • We are actively communicating with our clients about their travel plans, assisting with changes and cancellations and advising about any penalties that may apply.

Can I postpone my trip to a later date?

We don’t want you to miss out on your dream sports holidays, but it is all dependent on whether an event has been postponed or cancelled, and whether our suppliers are being flexible in allowing a credit until new dates for the event is announced. We therefore strongly encourage you to contact your Edusport travel consultant directly to assist with changing or cancelling your booking.

If the airline cancels, will I get a full refund?

Yes, then a waiver code will be authorised for a full refund. Please note that this may take up to 6 months to be processed.

Should I refrain from booking flights right now?

Yes, until we receive further updates from our suppliers on the sporting events and we see some signs of the virus being contained and not further impacting our clients or ourselves.

What about travel insurance?

We have received the following information from these travel insurance providers:

  • Bryte Insurance
  • Contact your insurer directly to determine their specific coverage plans in light of COVID-19.

Should you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
