Edusport Travel are proud to announce their appointment as one of the official travel agents for the British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour taking place in South Africa in June 2009. The Test matches against the Springboks will take place on 20th June in Durban, in Pretoria on the 27th June and in Johannesburg on the 4th July.

Meet the Team

Ed Hill – Managing Director
Ed has been involved in international sports travel since 1995 and is vastly experienced in organising major international sporting events. Qualified with a BA HDE degree from the University of Natal and Masters Degree Grade from San Diego State University (USA) Ed has a strong background in operations and logistics. This was evident by the role Ed played as MD of the Consortium appointed to operate the travel rights for the Cricket World Cup 2007.

Social Responsibility

Edusport Travel has undertaken to support God’s Golden Acre as part of their social responsibility program. God’s Golden Acre is a non profit making charity organisation that is involved in the care of children that have been orphaned or abandoned because of HIV/AIDS related illness and violence. We recently donated tracksuits to the young Zulu Warriors who visited Germany as part of a fundraising tour and are currently working together with them to complete the building of their ablution blocks for their Youth Skills Centre.
